I am also working on a menger sponge and I have made two level 2 cubes. I am now working on making a level 3 cube. I am using some flashcards that I found laying around the house and I cut rectangles from them, that are 1.5×3 cm. If you want, you can email me, and I will send you a link to where some pictures are posted. Also, what kind of paper are you using to make the clover folded models?
For the smaller red model I used average printer paper and for the larger yellow clover I used a thin version of printer paper. Also, congrats on making the menger sponges! PS: Your name seems familiar, did you comment on my youtube videos?
