This is a origami chain of cranes that I made from 1 sheet of paper (cut into 16 small connected squares on each of which a basic origami crane was folded). It was quite simple (but took some time to make/precrease) and I am very happy to be able to say I designed this model (maybe someone else thought of it too, but I didn’t use their instructions) just from inspiration from the origami model “tsurifune” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ZrK43m-PRI Also I am considering starting a origami shop so please comment if you are interested. I was looking at the origami “Tsurifune” when I got the idea of using the concept used in the video, but instead of making it around a crane, I made it into a chain/necklace. Here are some blurry pictures of the crane and some quick instructions I made (not very detailed).

These were some not-very-detailed diagrams I drew on a dry-erase board:

First day when I got the idea I didn’t have much time so I made part of a quick prototype (red-ish-pink colored):

This is a modular origami that I made for Mother’s Day 2012. It is made from 20 sheets of paper (Tung Ken Lam’s jitterbug modules) and instructions were taken from http://hektor.umcs.lublin.pl/~mikosmul/origami/balls.html It was quite easy to make, but since I’m still a beginner at origami, the result was kinda sloppy. Anyway, hope you enjoy! :-)

This is a modular origami model that I made for my mom’s birthday (happy birthday mom!). It required 12 pieces or paper and was quite easy to make (assembly was a tiny bit hard to understand in the video at first). The instructions are from http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lm2JEhBvxCg&feature=relmfu

Enjoy! :-)

This is a TINY origami crane that I made from a 1/2 by 1/2 inch sheet of paper. The final crane is shown next to a inch scale ruler in actual size.

Enjoy! :-)

This is a “bendaroo” dragon that was requested by one of my viewers. The model was designed from online pictures by me and my mom.

Enjoy! :-)
